Give your talents!

FCE cannot function in isolation and it is because of the wider body of Christ that we are able to be effective.  Through the years, we have experienced that God's people want to become involved and contribute to His work in some way or another.  We are very blessed by these outreaches, as people are really taking a big load off our shoulders.  We are encouraged when the work is completed so much quicker than we could have done it ourselves.  As we respond to God's leading and to the task of transformation communities, we are continually faced with new needs and challenges.  We cannot do it alone.  We need you.

Join us on a short term outreach.  You or your church could organise a team to visit one or more of our Training Centres.  Outreaches can take place throughout the year.

You will also be exposed to other activities at the training centres, for example:  Children's ministry, meals in a village, sleepover in a village, prayer walks, evangelism, fun activities, bible studies and many more.

FCE Team Supporting John Okello

Carel, Jordan & Raymond are in Sudan supporting John Okello, the principal of the orphanage. They are putting up a fence around the premises of The Amazing Grace Ministry. This project is launched to protect the children from hostile groups roaming the area and to keep out animals from our vegetable gardens.

Carel: We join in with John and AGCM with there Sunday fellowship. Jordan shared Ps37. He got at a stage dizzy and had to sit down in order to finish his message. I invited everyone who wants to follow the way of righteousness, Jesus Christ. What follows was a demonstration of the authority of Jesus Christ. Kids, adults and visitors from community came to the front. Basically there was 3 groups. Those that are already born again but use the opportunity confess their sin. Others received Christ. And then there were a mother who visited the witchdocter. She got a charm that was around her banoes neck. She felt convicted that is a sin and removed it. We had a fire where she burned it. Then there was a open invitation for all with charms to confess and burn it. Locals, a casual worker, also came and said he received Christ today. He also burned his charm around his arm because he testified that he put from now on his trust in Jesus. All the kids look so smart in the few new clothes we could bring which we handed out to them this morning. We have now a meeting with all the teachers. Be blessed.

Carel: "The truck arrived with the fencing material. We immediately started to work. The children painted the wooden poles. We received 36 loads of gravel and the locals and the children helped us to onload it. Now the work can proceed. Please pray we need to complete the task before or on 15th November.
